Local Children with smiling faces as they receive gifts from US Soldiers

hey LZ--email me, please? i can't find an email addy for you anywhere here. got a request for the page. has to do with cache memory. basically it's this: when you put up all the pix you have [say, 6]for a day's shooting, there's no 'view all the rest' link. when i click on the home page, a lot of data comes in. i find i can't get the closeups then. cache is full. however, if you put ONE thumbnail for a day's shooting and give us a 'view the rest' link, we can isolate just that day's group on a page of it's own, taking much less memory, and then clickng on each closeup comes in easily. will fotopages let you do that? just one lead image and 'view the rest' on a page to itself?
I'm hoping.

Just one of literally hundreds of projects the we are doing to help improve the quality of life in the province. At this level, the taxpayer's money is being well spent and has a real impact.

W,

Great pictures, totally forgot you had a fotopage, glad you're still around and alright. Looks like you're seeing more of the country side up close then I am, be careful!

A visit to As Sulaymaniah

View all 29 photos...
Sulaymaniah is the capital of As Sulaymaniah governate and one of the two regional centers (the other being Erbil) of the Kirkuk Regional Government. This area has been mostly self-governing since the end of the Gulf War in '91. This is the historical power base for the Talabani tribe and his PUK (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.)

Looks alot like Lebanon or northern California.....

Hi, I recently returned from Iraq and am glad to see someone posting the positive aspects of this war. I saw them all the time, and It seems like no one believes me. I was with the 352 CACOM in baghdad/taji/balad....supposedly the "triangle of death" for a year. I did see some bad stuff, but most of the time we found the locals to be indifferent or thankful we were there.

Thank you, and come home safe.
